Olay Regenerist Regenerating Lotion SPF 15

Packaging/Pricing:

75ml (2.5fl.oz) for ~25$. Opaque pump bottle is an excellent packaging. I also do like that you can see how much product is left (it quite annoys me when there is no way to tell how quick you go through the product). The pump has never stopped working on me. The only downside of this packaging worth mentioning is that the pump doesn't get all the product out. There is usually 1-2 weeks worth of product left, so I unscrew the top and try to get out product manually. Price is a bit steep for a drugstore, but I do believe this product is worth it, and generally speaking it is not that much for a good face cream.

Excellent (only beneficial ingredients, proven research)
Good (mostly beneficial, not extensive research or just not quite outstanding properties)
OK (mostly thickeners, emulsifiers, mild preservatives, pH adjusters, all that is necessary, but not a skincare per se)
Bad (irritants and anything bad that shouldn't be in skincare, usually fragrance)

Ingredients Discussion:

Simply excellent ingredient list. It has just the right blend of skin-identical ingredients (glycerin, palmtioyl pentapeptide-4), cell-communicating ingredients (niacinamide, palmtioyl pentapeptide-4), as well as antioxidants/anti irritants (vitamins C and E, green tea, allantoin). May be they are not the most exotic or innovative ingredients, but they are well researched and effective. This lotion features chemical sunscreen with broad spectrum protection. No irritants, except for a bit of a fragrance, but it shouldn't be a problem for most of people, since it is at the end of ingredient list.

Consumer Thoughts:

This is one of my absolutely favourite products. I went through more than fifteen bottles of it (and it is not an exaggeration of figure of speech). It is perfect for people with slightly dry to combination skin. This lotion is quite moisturising, but absorbs rather quick. I love light healthy sheen it gives to the skin (though people with oilier skin might not enjoy it). Usually one bottle last for 3-4 months. I have just only two minor complaints: first, SPF 15 is not that much, so for sunny days it is not my choice; second, my eyes are a little bit sensitive to chemical sunscreen, and sometimes this cream does get into my eyes, which is uncomfortable.

Verdict:

Strongly recommend. But please make sure you wear something with at least SPF 30 when spending long time in the sun.

5 out of 5.
