Naruko NRK Hydro-Lock Moisturizing Mask

Ingredients:

Water, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol, Erythritol, Saccharide Isomerate, Dissodium EDTA, Sodium Hyaluronate, D-Panthenol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Hydrolized Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum, Arginine, Fragrance, Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum, Crithmum Maritimum Extract, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Tripleurospermum Maritimum Extract, Homarine HCL, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate.

Excellent (very beneficial ingredients, proven research)
Good (moderately beneficial ingredients, not extensive research available or just not quite outstanding properties)
OK (mostly thickeners, emulsifiers, mild preservatives, pH adjusters, all that is necessary formulation wise, but not a skincare per se)
Bad (anything that shouldn't be in a skincare product, irritants and fragrance)

Ingredients Discussion:

Quite a good example of a face mask. This product claims to lock moisture in the skin, and it can absolutely do it with glycerin, hyaluronic acid and couple of saccharides used in here (the water-binding ingredients). But on top of that this mask has a nice amount of  licorice root extract (dipotassium glycyrrhizate), which has antioxidant properties as well as skin lightening ones (it can suppress melanin production in the skin to reduce hyper-pigmentation). There are also several other ingredients that would be helpful for your skin (panthenol and arginine).
Fragrance is the only unwanted component in here, but at least it is not that high on the ingredient list.

Consumer Thoughts:

This mask was surprisingly not as slimy as some others I've tried, which was a pleasant surprise. It also didn't have much of a fragrance as well, and it made me like it even more for that. Skin felt very nice and plump after using it.

Verdict:

I do recommend this product, if you are into sheet masks. Not all of the NRK masks are equally good, but there are worth checking out, especially for the price of 25-30$ for 10pc.. I've have reviewed more Naruko sheet masks here: VC BrighteningApple Seed and Tranexamic Acid.

4,5 out of 5.
