Inspra Suisse Absolue Serum: Vital+
Packaging:
This serum instantly disappointed me with the packaging. Considering it's marketed as a anti-aging serum, it definitely should have antioxidants in it. However no antioxidants can stay stable in the see though packaging with light exposure. So this fact alone knocks down the quality of this product.
Ingredients:
Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Ectoin, Leontopodium Alpinum (Edelweiss) Extract, Plantago Lanceolata Extract, Sodium PCA, Hydrolyzed Myrtus Communis Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Allantoin, Xanthan Gum, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, CI 15985.
So overall I wouldn't rate this serum very high. And for basic moisturizing serum it is a bit too expensive.
Consumer Thoughts:
This serum has very light watery consistency and is perfect for layering. It has light cosmetic scent (surprisingly not herbal). It didn't leave any strong impression on me.
3 out of 5.
Excellent (very beneficial ingredients, proven research)
Good (moderately beneficial ingredients, not extensive research available or just not quite outstanding properties)
OK (mostly
thickeners, emulsifiers, mild preservatives, pH adjusters, all that is
necessary formulation wise, but not a skincare per se)
Bad (anything that shouldn't be in a skincare product, irritants and fragranceIngredients Discussion:
This product basically has two main claims: regenerate skin and reduce wrinkles/anti-aging. The first one this product can accomplish, by using skin-repairing and moisturizing ingredients like glycerin, sodium PCA and allantoin. However the second claim is pretty much baseless one. There are very few anti-aging ingredients here (main one being edelweiss extract), but as I've mentioned before they will just disintegrate within first week of exposing this bottle to light. Also what is claimed to be an anti-aging ingredient in here - myrtle extract - is actually an irritating ingredients, which will age skin even more, by inducing inflammation. The addiction of fragrance doesn't help as well.

Verdict:
Not a horrible product, but not recommended.
