Excellent (very beneficial ingredients, proven research)
Good (mostly beneficial ingredients, not extensive research available or just not quite outstanding properties)
OK (mostly thickeners, emulsifiers, mild preservatives, pH adjusters, all that is necessary formulation wise, but not a skincare per se)
Bad (anything that shouldn't be in skincare, irritants and fragrance)

Ingredients Discussion:

The only drawback of this formulation is a lack of antioxidants. There is literally none here. However otherwise this is a noteworthy product. Since it targets people with sensitive or dry skin (often with rosacea and eczema) it has an excellent blend of moisture-binding/barrier repairing ingredients. This moisturizer is also fragrance free, and does not include any other irritants. The moisturizing lotion PM is kind of an upgraded version of their regular moisturizing lotion.
The skin repairing ingredients are: glycerin, ceramides (3,6 II, 1), phytosphingosine, cholesterol and hyaluronic acid.
There is also vitamin B3 (niacinamide) present here in a high concentration. It is a very potent cell-communicating ingredient. It makes skin retain water better, increases levels of naturally occurring ceramides and helps to treat an uneven skin tone / hyper-pigmentation.

Consumer Thoughts:

I love this product and often repurchase it. Though it is meant for dry skin, it is actually not heavy or oily. The texture leans more towards gel-lotion. May be it wouldn't be moisturizing enough for people with very dry skin, but it is solved easily by layering a moisturizing serum underneath. Otherwise it will work for all skin types. It absorbs into the skin easily and does not leave any unpleasant residue. It works really well when layered with other products.

Verdict:

Great moisturizer for a great price. Works for all skin types, including sensitive. However I would highly recommend to pair it with antioxidant rich serum to "cover" the only weakness it has, lack of antioxidants.

4,5 out of 5.
