Juice Organics Pompeptide Facial Moisturizer
Packaging/Pricing:
This is a drugstore level product, hence the packaging is quite simple opaque white plastic tube. Simple and convenient. You get 50ml (1.7fl.oz) for 15$. This product can be found on Walgreens.com (here), Amazon, Vitacost etc.
[It appears that the packaging of the product and ingredient list is a bit different, depending from what place you purchase the product. I am reviewing the list on the box I've purchased.]

Excellent (only beneficial ingredients, proven research)
Good (mostly beneficial, not extensive research or just not quite outstanding properties)
OK (mostly thickeners, emulsifiers, mild preservatives, pH adjusters, all that is necessary, but not a skincare per se)
Bad (irritants and anything bad that shouldn't be in a skincare, usually fragrance)
Ingredients Discussion:
Let me start by saying that this product doesn't have even a single irritating ingredient, which is quite amazing for an organic cosmetics line (where essential oils are pretty much a must). This cream even doesn't feature any added fragrance. Though the product itself has a faint fruit scent, the smell comes from fruit juices and extracts included in the formulation.
This formulation is a blend of two groups of ingredients: antioxidants + anti-irritants and skin-identical + moisture binding. In the first group the main ingredients are vitamin C and grape and pomegranate juices (however juices have much lower antioxidant activity than fruit extracts). There are good amount of other antioxidants/anti-irritants here (pomegranate, cucumber, green tea extracts, vitamin E and allantoin), but they all are only in the bottom half of the ingredient list, that makes them less potent. The second group includes aloe vera juice, sunflower, jojoba, borage and linseed oils, glycerin, panthenol, shea butter and lecithin. All of them are excellent at keeping skin well moisturized and skin protective barrier intact.
This cream also features palmitoyl pentapeptide-3, which has some cell-communicating properties (though there is not enough independent research on that). All these make the formulation really well rounded and multidimensional.
Company labels this cream as lifting and firming, which unfortunately is an impossible task for a skincare product. The sagging we see with age is the result of fat pads moving down in our face from the force of gravity. Only a surgeon can relocate them back during the face lift surgery. Strong retinol product definitely can help to increase skin's firmness and reduce some wrinkles by making cells work better and communicate that message to other cells. However this product doesn't contain retinol. So I doubt it can really work as promised. Nevertheless is is still a great moisturize,r with excellent ingredients to keep skin healthy and prevent some aging.
Consumer Thoughts:
I do like this product for being moisturizing and light at the same time. It is not sticky, and doesn't require extra rubbing in. I use it on my neck and chest area in the evening. The scent is light and pleasant. Nothing bad to say about this cream.
Verdict:
Definitely recommend Juice Organics Pompeptide moisturizer. Suitable for all skin types except oily.
5 out of 5.
P.S.: Not to be mixed with Juice Beauty brand.
